Summer V Camp (Virtual Program)

  • Monday: Cardio Exercises – Let’s Get Moving!
    • Main Activity: 3 sets with a 2 minute rest between sets, 30 second rest between exercises
      • Begin with leg stretches, at least 5 minutes
      • Run in place for 2 minutes, 30 second rest
      • 15 Mountain Climbers, 30 second rest
      • 10 Burpees, 30 second rest
      • 10 Jumping Jacks, 30 second rest
      •  End with full body stretches, controlled breathing, and relaxation
        • Controlled breathing: Inhale through nose for 6 sec, hold for 6 sec, exhale through mouth 6 sec, hold for 6 sec, repeat until heart rate steadies (Fun fact, this breathing exercise also helps relieve stress and anxiety.)
