 community since 1948. We are a league of women dedicated to promoting volu
 nteerism and seeking to help women realize their full potential. Our purpo
 se is exclusively educational and charitable\, as we strive to make a diff
 erence in our local community through the action and leadership of our tra
 ined league members. Since 1948\, The Junior League of Florence has worked
  diligently to improve the lives of those in the Florence community and be
 yond. As a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI
 )\, we are part of an international organization which is composed of more
  than 290 Leagues in the US\, Canada\, UK\, and Mexico dedicated to commun
 ity service. The Junior League of Florence makes a difference in the commu
 nity through our annual fundraisers like: Diaper Drive\, Lucky Shamrock Fe
 stival\, Little Black Dress and Touch-A-Truck. Our fundraisers enable us t
 o give back to our community through JLF grants and scholarship awards. We
  would love for you to consider becoming a part of the league! Whether by 
 sponsorship or membership\, we could not do what we do without the graciou
