X-WR-CALDESC:Bad news surrounds us. It comes through our phone\, computer a
nd television screens. We encounter it in doctors’ offices\, the workplace
\, and our own homes. If we are not careful\, we can drift toward cynicism
\, fear\, or despair. As followers of Jesus\, we must not lose sight of th
e fact that God has given us good news. We call it the gospel. The gospel
truths shared with the early church at Rome echo into our day\, reminding
us that we still have good news to embrace personally and to share with ot
hers. This six-week study of Romans highlights significant concepts regard
 ing the good news about faith\, hope\, daily life\, God’s plan\, relations
hips\, and eternity. Whatever bad news we may be facing\, in Romans we wil
l find good news that will encourage\, inspire\, and transform us\, bringi
ng about a spiritual renewal that will spread to those around us.\nPlease
join us on Mondays at 10:30am & 5:30pm in the Poynor Room.
