 ette Dukes is Executive Director of Pee Dee Regional Council of Government
 s (COG). She has 30+ years’ experience\, serving in various capacities in 
 her organization. From 2011 until 2023\, she served as Workforce Developme
 nt Director. During her tenure in that role\, the Pee Dee Area received mo
 re than $52 million in funding for workforce development\, provided millio
 ns of workforce development services\, and served thousands of individuals
  seeking individualized educational support and career advancement.\nJoett
 e is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s School of Business a
 nd holds a Doctor of Theology Degree from Christian Outreach Bible College
 . She is a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO)\, Global Career Dev
 elopment Facilitator (GCDF)\, and Society for Human Resources Management C
 ertified Professional (SHRM-CP).\nJoette serves on the boards of several n
 on-profit\, community\, and/or faith-based organizations. She is married t
 o Elder Stevie Dukes\, Pastor of Lighthouse Way of the Cross Church and is
  involved in their ministry in many capacities. She is also actively invol
 ved with the church’s international fellowship - the Way of the Cross Chur
 ch of Christ\, International - where she holds leadership roles in the Chr
 istian Education Department and Women’s Ministry.\nJoette and her husband 
 have three sons (Terrence\, Stevie\, and Christian) and reside in Florence
