 Library\, and a book signing will follow.\nVarian Johnson was born in Flor
 ence SC and graduated from Wilson High School. He was a Math and Science g
 eek and had a love of reading. He wanted to write books that had character
 s that looked like him. Some of his books include Twins\, The Parker Inher
 itance\, and Playing the Cards You’re Dealt. Varian’s books are available 
 to check out at all our library locations.\nThis program targets children\
 , teens\, and families who enjoy reading and using the library and is free
  to attend.\nNational Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting t
 he valuable role libraries\, librarians\, and library workers play in tran
 sforming lives and strengthening communities. This year’s theme is “Ready\
 , Set\, Library!”\nThis event is sponsored by the Eastern Carolina Communi
 ty Foundation\, Friends of Florence County Library\, and Otis Elevator. Fo
