37th Annual Carolina Classic Basketball Tournament
Quality Education Academy of Winston-Salem, N.C., swept the 37th Annual Pepsi Carolina Classic presented by South Carolina Federal Credit Union held at West Florence High School Dec. 27-29 in both the boys and girls divisions. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area. In the Girls Championship, Quality Education Academy defeated Wilson 48-33 with Quality’s Danasia Horne #2 named MVP. In the Boys Championship, Quality Education Academy defeated North Augusta 57-47 with Quality’s Jermaurhiyun Anderson #1 named MVP.
