Intro to Belly Dancing Class
Come learn basic bellydance movements and steps with Jessica Cloud! “Belly dance is a Middle Eastern dance that originated in Egypt, which features movements of the hips and torso. An expressive dance, it is one of the oldest forms of dance.” (Wikipedia)
In this workshop, you learn about muscle isolations and drills to build your skills over time. You’ll walk away with the basic knowledge of (and suggestions for practicing): arm undulations, shimmies, Egyptian step, and body waves.
*We welcome and accept all body types, sizes, and shapes.
February 10th from 9:00am-12:00pm (with a break about every hour)

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Jessica began studying American Tribal Style and fusion styles of belly dance in Columbia, SC in 2007 and taught classes and workshops in Hattiesburg, MS in 2018-2019.
