South State Bank Senior Vice President and Boys & Girls Club alum Sedrick McCallum presents a $5,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area on Wednesday, Dec. 14, for building and program upgrades to the Rick & Susan Goings Hemingway Club.
That afternoon, the executives of South State Bank gave more than 30 youth a class on financial literacy using games and activities. One lesson described the difference between wants and needs. Several demonstrated the importance of saving as well as tips and goals.
